Fun with Picture my Life Cards

I made some greeting cards using the smaller 3"x4" Picture My Life cards in the Babycakes kit.. I also used the CTMH corner rounder because it is exactly the same radius as the Picture My Life Cards. I used my sewing machine for some stitching and I used liquid glass to glue the Baker's Twine bows. Done!

Close to My Heart has a new scrapbooking program called "Picture My Life"

It is super easy to use . I also used the one of the 3 x 4 double sided cards from the Babycakes Program and made a sweet little card! I can't wait to get more of the Picture My Life Sets.

 

Below is a card I made from the Later Sk8r set. I combined the Picture My Life  card with Pear cardstock and Outdoor denim card stock that I  embossed with a new embossing folder available in the latest Close to My Heart catalog/idea book! Easy peasy!  Fun and fast!

New Catalog- New FUN!

Paper crafting Fun in Florida!

 I recently visited my sister, Susan, in Florida. I was able to attend my first weekend crop with her. Before the crop I made some fun samples to show.

Using our CTMH Artbooking Cricut Collection, I cut out the adorable snowman!  With the CTMH Chalk Marker, I also added stripes to the scarf and box.  The candy in our CTMH Treat Tube is yogurt covered raisins. I used red washi tape from the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide 
 I glued a button on to the top of the treat tube and attached the poem to the button. The poem reads:

I've heard that you've been naughty,

now listen here's the scoop,

I'm running short on coal this year

so you get snowman's poop!

Also in the Holidays from the Heart Gift Guide,  are some really fun treat bags,  the new Sweet Tweetings kit. It comes with nine tags, six cloth bags and the most adorable stamp set. I used some scraps of cards stock, the new red washi tape again and a few tiny pieces of the CTMH glitter paper. You can fill the bags with all sorts of goodies!  Super cute!  These would make great little teacher gifts, or something for a co-worker or friend.

Cricut Card Workshop!

This will be  fun card workshop. All the pieces are cut with the Cricut and all you have to do is assemble them. No stamping on these cards. The price is $2 a card. Make a nice selection of cards for different occasions.

Saturday, October 12 at my house from 10 am to 4 pm.
Come on by for a little bit, or the entire time.

Bring adhesive and a glue pen for the small pieces that need to be glued.

Oh Baby!

I love this Close to My Heart Babycakes paper! These cards were super fast and easy because I cut out the words and animals with the new Artbooking Cricut. I stitched some of the cards with my sewing machine, but you can also stitch by hand OR just draw some stitches on the card like I did with the lion. The CTMH washi tape looks great with this paper, too! Fun!
